first_img The Arizona Cardinals, in search of pass rushing help, made a push to sign linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul away from the New York Giants.Unfortunately for them, Pierre-Paul on Tuesday decided not to leave the Big Apple, as he agreed to a one-year contract that can be worth up to $10.5 million, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.It’s certainly a blow to the Cardinals’ free agency plans, as they were hoping to land the 27-year-old who tallied just one sack in eight games last season but has 43 in six years, 12.5 of which came in 2014.
